Urgent Notification: Immediate Price Adjustments Due to U.S. Tariff Increases

Dear Hayes Partner,

We are notifying you of immediate pricing adjustments driven by recently imposed incremental U.S. import tariffs leading to total tariffs up to 20% on goods from Taiwan and 60% on goods from China. These increases affect goods manufactured and imported by Hayes Bicycle Group from our Asia facilities. We understand the challenges this presents and are committed to minimizing the impact.

Hayes Bicycle Group has resisted passing on these rising costs for as long as possible. Over the past months, our team has worked diligently to optimize operations and drive efficiencies across our Asia manufacturing footprint. These efforts have focused on preserving product quality, minimizing cost increases, while not increasing MSRP for our consumer audience in what is still a very competitive retail market.

Despite our best efforts, the magnitude and immediacy of these tariff changes force us to adjust prices on affected products. We want to assure you that Hayes is absorbing as much of the financial burden as possible and that only a portion of the increased cost is being passed along. Therefore, effective immediately all newly placed orders verified on or after July 29, will carry a 5% increase on Hayes, Manitou, and Reynolds products with country of origin (COO) Taiwan and a 10% increase on SUNringlé and select Reynolds products with a COO China.

These changes are necessary to ensure that we can continue delivering the high-performance products you expect while investing in future innovation and maintaining a reliable supply. We will continue to monitor the tariff environment and adjust as needed.
